Barely surviving, recently escaped abuse (via The Last Straw)

I read this post last night and felt compelled to share this young women’s story with you. Her story is shared by too many women all over the world. As you read her story pay attention to the many red flags that say “this is a dangerous man”.

I usually make it a point not to give advice however there is one piece of advice that I do give to everyone I talk to, “Listen to your gut!!!” Always listen to your gut feelings, and remember when something doesn’t feel right but you just can’t put your finger on it, run. If you notice any behaviors that don’t seem normal to you, then it’s time to run, and run fast. And if your friends tell you that they don’t like someone or that they have a bad feeling about someone interested in you, listen to them there is a reason even if no one can put their finger on why. Don’t take any chances with your safety and with your life. It is far easier to end it right from the start than after you have been involved for any length of time.

I received the following email and felt it would benefit her and everyone else to post it here.  Help me to support this young girl. I will call her Strength.
