It is so hard to get away with your life after years of torment and abuse. It is so important to educate our girls at a very early age, to be able recognize this type of personality before they get to the age of dating. The signs are there, they just need to tuned into them. The very things that attract us to the wolf in sheep’s clothing are the things that should be red flags, however they seem like they are so perfect in the beginning. BIG red flag “perfect” for me! Don’t allow yourself to get “swept off your feet” which we are conditioned to dream of as the perfect romance. Ladies take it slow and keep your eyes opened, your ears perked, and pay very close attention to what he says, what he does, how he acts, and how he treats other people and animals. The signs will show just don’t ignore them when you notice them, don’t shake it off like it’s nothing, or think it might be your imagination. It is your survival instinct telling you that he is dangerous, so listen to it when it does.

My message to any young/girl or mature/women out there is you need to have a rule that the first time he hits me will be the day I know it is time to get out. The sooner into a relationship the easier it is to get out. It will not get better it will only get worse.

Love yourself and your children (even before they are conceived), enough to get out at the very first warning sign. And teach your daughters and your nieces and cousins and any other young women what the signs are of a dangerous man!
